Since 1999 I have been certified as a Microsoft Certified Trainer and have worked at numerous training facilities and college campus locations educating both career changers as well as existing network engineers, administrators and technicians in Microsoft Windows technologies and networking. It's been my goal to use my daily work as a consultant as a resource to add depth to my presentations.
Students often find that my discussions, while tangential, work to illustrate the many different facets experienced in the IT world. No network integration project exists in a vacuum, progressing just as the whitepaper said it would. It is a necessary part of the IT Professional's work to be able to change on a second's notice, see as many sides of a situation as possible and do his or her best to provide for rich functionality as well as reliability over the lifespan of a project.
Being a Microsoft Certified Trainer allows me to utilize the Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC) for uniform and reproducible presentations. Having this certification attests to my desire to differentiate myself from others by applying a higher standard and accountability to my presentations and course delivery.
